Grape seed OPC powder: the best from grapes
As a pure natural product without any additives, the grape seed powder from PlantaVis is rich in secondary plant substances from the group of flavonoids, especially the oligomeric proanthocyanidins, in short: OPC. It is now common knowledge that red wine contains abundant flavonoids, making it a source of OPC. What is less well known is that the grape seed contains far more OPC than the pulp of the grape. In fact, the OPC content in grape seed powder is up to ten times higher than that in red wine. In nature, oligomeric proanthocyanidins serve to protect plants. They make it possible for the grapevine to grow up to 300 years (and older) and to survive various weather conditions and also strong solar radiation well. OPC are also natural antioxidants. In nature, OPC is found in particularly high concentration in all berries with red skin. The most important supplier of concentrated OPC are thus the seeds of red grapes.
